Lava lamp

      Lava Lamp also known as wax lamp, its name comes from the slow flow of amorphous wax droplets in it, which is reminiscent of the flow of lava. Lava lamps come in many shapes and colors.

      The physical principle of lava lamp is very simple, which is composed of a base and a sealed glass bottle. The base was originally a heating wire,

      Nowadays, it is changed to a high-power bulb or LED. The sealed glass bottle is made of borosilicate glass, which is filled with transparent liquid and translucent wax.

      At room temperature, the density of wax is slightly higher than that of liquid, but after heating, it is slightly lower than that of liquid. After power on, the bulb in the base heats and seals the glass bottle, transferring heat to the wax block. The wax block in the bottle melts and floats on the water surface, and sinks into the bottom of the bottle due to gradual cooling, causing a changing dynamic light and shadow effect again and again.
